President Buhari has sacked heads of 17 parastatals under the Ministry of Education today. Prof Ishaq Oloyede has been appointed the new JAMB Boss.
The Federal Government has appointed 17 news Chief Executive Officers to oversee various parastatals and agencies under the Federal Ministry of Education.
Some of the parastatals under the ministry affected include the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board, National Board of Technical Education, National Universities Commission and National Library of Nigeria.
One of those newly appointed is Prof Isaq Oloyede, who is to replace Prof Dibu Ojerinde of JAMB.
Below are the other affected parastatals/agencies and the newly appointed Chief Executives;

6.National Commission for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal education â€“ Prof Abba Aladu
7.Nomadic education Commission â€“ Prof Bashir Usman
8.National Business and technical Examinations Board â€“ Prof Isioma Isiugo-Abanihe
9.Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria â€“ Prof Sunday Josiah Ajiboye
10.Computer Registration Council of Nigeria â€“ Afolabi aderinto
11.National Commission for Colleges of Education â€“ Prof Bappah Aliyu
12.Tertiary Education Trust Fund â€“ Dr. Abdullahi Bichi Baffa
13.National Teachers Institute â€“ Prof Garba Dahuwa Azare
14.Libarian Registration Council of Nigeria â€“ Prof Michael Afolabi
15.National Mathematical Centre â€“ Prof Steven Ejugwu Onah
16.National Institute of Nigerian Languages â€“ Prof Chinyere Ohiri-Aniche
The following four Chief Executive Officers retained their positions. They are : Prof Samaila Junaidu of Nigeria Educational Research & Development Council (NERDC); Prof Raauf Adebisi, Nigerian French Language Village Badagry, (NFLV) ; Dr Masâ€™ud A. Kazaure , National Board For Technical Education (NBTE) ; and Prof Muhammad Muâ€™az of the National Arabic Language Village, Maiduguri, Borno State (NALV).
