Nigerian Security Forces Rescue Kidnapped Lagos School Girls
The three female students of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary, Ikorodu, Lagos state, who were kidnapped from their hostel on Monday have been rescued. The circumstances of their freedom are still hazy, but they were said to have been rescued at Igbo Okuta area of Ikorodu.

The young ladies were saved by the security organizations in an operation that began in the small hours of Sunday. A senior cop told TheCable: “We were sure that the young ladies would be safeguarded alive in light of the fact that we had great insight on the operations of these criminals. We had them cornered, and it was simply a question of time for them to achieve a parkway.”
The criminals allegedly reached Victor Ayo Olusa, father of the principal casualty, to request a payment of N200m, which was later brought down to N20m per understudy. Steve Ayorinde, Lagos state official for data and society, affirmed the uplifting news to TheCable. “I can likewise affirm that no payments were paid,” he said.
The three understudies â€“ Timilehin Olusa, Tofunmi Popo Olaniyan and Deborah Akinayo â€“ were kidnapped from their school on Monday night.
