The Jamb (UTME) Examination is around the corner and I feel its time to unite all aspirants of the institution to one page not to get scammed or easily swayed by wrong information whatsoever.
How is the Uniport Admission Process for 2017/18 going to be like?
Using last year’s process (2016/2017) as a case study.
The minister of Education Malam Adamu Adamu stopped POST UTME
POST UTME means Examination after Jamb in which candidates that surpass the Jamb cutoff mark are expected to write the exam conducted by the school of choice.
Let’s say you scored 230 in Jamb, the university you selected maybe Uniport general cutoff mark is 200, you have surpassed the cutoff mark and you can go for the exam after obtaining the POST UTME form.
POST UTME was cancelled last year by the minister of education thereby making the Admission process and calendar of last year very slow.
The admission process for this year is not yet known but I’m 89% sure that there won’t be POST-UTME this year too.
What are my chances of gaining admission to Uniport Admission 2017/18?
